What We're About
This year is the Toy Bank's 25th Annual Day of Giving! A community event which helps share the joy of giving with local families in need.
We're a non-profit, community-based, all volunteer organization that was established in 1994.
The Toy Bank provides toys, games, playground balls, stuffed animals, books, arts and crafts and other items for approximately 1400 to 1600 children each year. Our organization partners with Coats for Kids and The Salvation Army to provide a special Day of Giving for our local families in Paso Robles, San Miguel, Bradley, Creston, Shandon and Heritage Ranch.
The local Coats for Kids program provides a new or gently used coat, sweatshirt or sweater for each immediate member of approximately 550 families each year. The Salvation Army provides grocery gift cards for each registered household.
The Central Coast Woodworkers in Paso Robles also join in and bring us handcrafted baby cradles, complete with baby dolls and blankets, for the enjoyment of our children.
We work hard, have a lot of fun in our version of Santa's workshop and are always looking for new volunteers.
